Lino's restaurant has been established since 1983 and enjoys a regular and discerning clientele. 

Lino was born near Genoa in Italy. He first moved to the UK while studying for a scholarship and it was here that he met his wife, Barbara. Subsequently, he worked in many prestigious restaurants throughout the North West.  He was soon appointed Manager of The Cottage Loaf in Thurstaston, once one of Wirral’s finest restaurants, and he and Barbara raised their family here until 1983.

In 1983, Lino and Barbara decided to embark on their own venture in the form of Lino’s restaurant, accompanied by their son Enrico who has since helped to develop the business and the menus, and has now taken over the reins.

We had a fantastic time at Lino's and will certainly be back soonest! The food rated incredibly highly - but my favourite thing about it was dessert - the chocolate nemesis was divine. I didn't expect to stumble across such a gem - we felt we had to spread the word.

Delicious!

We had a fantastic time at Lino's and will certainly be back soonest! The food rated incredibly highly - but my favourite thing about it was dessert - the chocolate nemesis was divine. I didn't expect to stumble across such a gem - we felt we had to spread the word.

A must

I can't recommend Lino's enough! The staff, the food, the ambiance - outright superb! I would travel up to Liverpool just for a return visit!

Pudding heaven !!

Spent such an amazing evening at Lino's. The food is amazing and the puddings exceptional. An established family run restaurant that you really have to visit. I cant wait to go back !

If you're after truly professional service and food cooked to perfection, you need look no further. The family have been running Lino's for over 30 years and the son Enrico is an exceptional chef. There's a great mix of classic dishes and inventive fusion and the wine list is superb. Top marks!

The best in Hoylake

If you're after truly professional service and food cooked to perfection, you need look no further. The family have been running Lino's for over 30 years and the son Enrico is an exceptional chef. There's a great mix of classic dishes and inventive fusion and the wine list is superb. Top marks!

The best restaurant in town

This is a top restaurant, with excellent food and wine. The welcome and service are just as they should be, warm, friendly and professional. You need to book early to get a table on the day you want.
